Ok. I now have access to a gym! YAY!!! Noirutla sort of rearranged his schedule so now on Saturday and Sunday mornings, I drive up to the town he works in to go to his gym. We are doing a full body weight work out both days. Last weekend we did everything except my head, hands, and feet. Then I do cardio on Tuesday and Thursday. Is this sufficient? I know ideally, I should be doing my weights each day or alternating days with muscle groupings, so I wanted to make sure I wasn't defeating the purpose here.

A full 2 day body workout is going to pay its toll. Advise to you is to split your schdule so that weight training isn't back to back. As all of us know, muscles do need time to recuperate.

I could rearrange my work out schedule, but I would be very limited in what I could do. If I switch, I will only have a set of dumbells here at home and that is all. I can not get to a gym during week days. I have no days other than Saturday and Sunday to be at the gym since it is in another town and I work full time. So, I'm trying to work with what I have available to me.

Thinking legs and back on one day then arms and chest on the other day. Also doing cardio on these days as well as Tuesday and Thursday.

If progess is slow, I can handle that. I do want to be sure I'm not going backwards by doing this though.

If you're going to split over two days, I'd recommend pairing chest and back one day and lower body and abs the next. You can do a few sets for your arms after your chest/back workout, but it's more important to focus on your major muscle groups rather than putting too much effort into arm training. Continue to use compound movements and your arms will get plenty of high quality work.
