Hey guys,
I got a flu bug today that had me squirting out both ends. The vomiting was violent, even when there was nothing left. Add a fever to that, major back pain (because I couldn't take any medicine for back pain and keep it down) and yesterday's abs and shoulder blitz, and this was one of the worst days of my life.
When I do abs, I do it on a steep incline using the decline bench and a 35 or 45lb plate. I hold the plate back over my head and down, then bring it to chest, then sit up, then back down, and repeat.
As most of you know, the old vomit routine is basically an involuntary contraction of muscles... but when those muscles hurt already, there is no word for it. It's like being stabbed by Freddy, then beating by Mike Tyson. Then being shot.
I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy, but a note of caution; if you have a clue that you might get a stomach bug like this one (and I did have some advance notice) stay away from abs the few days beforehand. ;)
Other than that, nice to be back. :D

Annoyingly, within hours of reading this post yesterday, I was doubled up with stomach cramps - which after doing abs that morning was no fun at all. My attack only lasted a few hours, so I really feel for you ogun if yours went for anything longer than that.
