do you go about the entire rest of the day struggling to breath, or just after a heavy set or what? some times i feel light headed after a real heavy set, but i actually enjoy that... heh...

How good do you feel your cardiovascular system is as far as endurance? I mean, can you run a mile? Or do you never do cardio? Etc?
One thing I could think of that it could be, but this is probably something you should rule out until everything else is been checked lol, I have had a few episodes of atrial fibrillation. Sometimes in really intense workouts, my heart will beat funny on me, and it will cause me to feel the way you do.
There's other times where my heart goes into a pattern where it will skip a beat, count 4 good beats then skip another one, and do this when my heart rate is up in the middle of a workout. It feels a bit scary and sometimes it won't let me take deep breaths, but it usually goes away by the end of my workout.
