Hi

I have recently started going to the gym at the apartment complex and have noticed that when I do the fitness test on the treadmill and stationary bike, the result is below average with fitness score of 20-22. I would like to know the proper exercise schedule to follow as I have just recently started exercising. Even my heart rate is in the 160s, I would like to know if it is normal. I am a 26 year old female weighing around 125 lbs, height 5'2.5"

That's a normal heart rate. For your age you want it anywhere between 155-170ish for 75-85% of maximum effort. If your goal is cardiovascular fitness, just do cardio 5-6 days a week, maybe throw in HIIT (high intensity interval training) once or twice a week.

Thanks. Could you suggest me a regimen that I could follow. I just want to do the basics, I have access to just treadmill, cycling and elliptical trainer. Thanks in advance.
