Hi, I'm new. I bought a treadmill with all the bells and whistles at the beginning of the year. I faithfully workout 3-4 times a week for 20-30 min. I haven't lost any weight, my clothes fit the same and I'm discouraged. I have noticed the cardio benefits, but those won't be noticed when I put on my swimsuit. Is it better to do a fast walk or a jog in order to lose weight and tone? Any help is appreciated.

A good diet is very very very important.. what does your current diet look like? Are you following the ft nutritional goals or some other kind like the zone or atkins diet?

Try reading the article about HIIT here at Freetrainers.com

It seems like your body needs a change.

Don't worry, you'll be okey.

If running is your thing, why not just vary your workouts? Maybe set a goal, such as an upcoming 5K and go to runnersworld.com or any other running site to see some example training programs.
