Ok I am new to FT...hello everyone. I want to make sure I'm not taking 2 steps forward and 3 steps back... I've been training regularly 3 to 4 days a week for about 15 or so months with the Bowflex Ultimate...I know everyone has their opinions on it but I happen to think it's great..I recently bought a set of dumbells to do some spot training and supersets along with the bowflex workout I do...Finally, my question is am I doing more bad than good with mixing these two? particularly(sp.)the alternating supersets with them??
I would have to say that you are doing more good than bad. My reasoning is simple: you are incorporating sets of exercises which require additional balance and stability to perform. Supplementing your current 1-piece equipment should help.

 Cool I just don't want to be adding to my workout and it actually be a hinderance
Thanks again!!:dumbbell:

anytime you're adding variety to your training....you're only benefiting youself...just be sure to take extra precaution with DBs...because they require more coordination....and require the use of more auxillary muscles to stabilize your body...
