well, from what I was told, takes 30 minutes at a 60%+ heart rate to start burining, fat. your optimum heart rate is a calculation of your age, ask at your local gym.. I know at 26 I am suposed to stay under 170ish BPM, and I would GUESS at 32 your probably looking at a 150ish, maby 160, and I am not sure how accurate my info is, it is what is posted on the treadmills here.
Also, your weight is greatly determined by what you eat, especialy with your step aerobics, you sound active enough, how is your diet? Might want to look down that dreaded road, also, if your good there have you had your Thyroid checked? Just a few thoughts for ya, GL!
