I have heard about supersets being very effective ways of gaining muscles.Their are various kinds of supersets like pre-exhaust,post-exhaust,compound,isolation& antagonistic.
But is it advisable for someone who is just 10 months old in the bodybuilding world.

archan,

how old are you? how is your progress to this point? If you are stuck.. and your gains are at a plateau.. there is nothing wrong with adding supersets into your exercise programs.

Try it if you stuck it pumps you up....

I really like doin` supersets especially with heavy weights
it feels like I spent less time working out

`cause I move from one exercise to another.....

archan,
I tried out the superset on my legs when I read the article of yours......well,.....it seems that normal setting is much better than supersetting.....with normal setting I get a better pump and a better workout....you see, the climate in India, specially West Bengal is such that it is preferable not to completely drain yourself out in the gym......and thats what supersets do to you

Stick with the basics for now. If your current workout is doing it for you, stick with it. Don't break what's not broken. If you do decide to do it, eat like an animal!
