Hey everybody ive been out of the gym for about 8 yrs now. I have blown up after i quit smoking and im looking to drop about 15 lbs. Only execption that i have is lingering injuries such as shoulder problems and knee problems do to football and baseball injuries and work just drains me. What suggestions do you have to start slowly for cardio and weight training to get back into shape thanx

Hi!

I suggest starting off with swimming.  That will be great for your shoulder and knee!  Swimming is an excellent source of cardio training for the heart.  Try resistance bands as well, very low impact and gracious to those injured joints.
