A few months ago I started getting stretch marks right around my underarm. I know this is common for people who are weight training, but I was wondering if there was anything I could do about it, or if anyone else had a similar experience. I'm not fat, or overweight, that's not the problem, I'm about 5'11" and weigh around 186. I was hoping that they would stop growing but it really seems like every day I wake up and they're just a little larger than they were the day before. Any help would be nice.
Hey Chris, here is what I posted on another thread about this topic:
You can't get rid of stretch marks. They reflect the separation of collagen in the skin. I talked with a dermatologist and a plastic surgeon about mine and though they are developing many potential cosmetic solutions as we speak, they both agree that you cannot prevent them nor can you make them go away with creams and lotions.
So, you wait for them to fade and try a little self tanner, I guess. :(
