I'm a beginner here, and I have a strange question...I have five children. Three of them were born by C-section. I've also had two other surgeries in my abdominal area. Will it be more difficult for me to firm up my abs, since the muscles have been cut so many times? Also, my lower belly is "crooked" due to scarring from one of the surgeries and fat being deposited unevenly over the years. Anything I can do, short of more surgery? (that's not really an option) Thanks!

Really not a strange question at all. I worried when I started losing weight that my lower abdominal area. But with the weight lose and alot of leg raises, crunches, and yes I bought a ab roller, the area smoothed out and I now have a rather flat stomach. On a low water day I can even see a six pack, Woo Hoo! A good weight loss diet and exercise should give you the results that you are looking for.

The abs are the hardest for us all. Just keep training and you will be amazed at what you can actually accomplish.
