Sports Hernia?? athletic pubalgia??

dakss Posts: 1 Joined: 2006/05/31	2006/05/31, 07:30 PM I was diagnosed with athletic pubalgia by my physical therapist last week. Mine was due to excessive abdominal work-which I think weakened the muscle and excessive amount of twisting and lifting of 5 gallon water bottles at work. Bad combination. I am getting an MRI done on Thursday and I am anticipating on having surgery to repair. It has been a nasty injury keeping me out of work for 2 months but going a month and 1/2 before it was diagnosed so I lost alot of recovery time.
