Today I`ve decided to join the spin class at my gym.

I didn`t know how much I~m out fo shape.

I`m a big believer that cardio is a base for the weight training.

When I start working out I was doin` my cardio for 20-30 min each time I was @ the gym. I`ve noticed decent gains.

...then I start reading and hearing people doing less cardio for mass and I started to follow that trend and that`s when my results went to none.

Anyway, after the calss I could not finish my workout.

.....and I`m going back ......

You can do 5-10 minutes of cardio as a warmup before your weights workout, but you should keep your cardio sessions seperate from your workouts. If you have to do them at the same time then do cardio after so that you save your strength for lifting. The shorter cardio sessions you are probably hearing about are high intensity interval training (HIIT) sessions. Those are usually between 15 and 20 minutes.
