Hi.......
I am 15 years, old weigh about 130 Lbs, and about 5'7 ft tall. I recently signed up for football at my school, trying out for wide reciever. I'm not slow, I can run a mile in less than 8 minutes, but still want to gain more speed. What exercises do I need to do to increase my speed, or what muscles do I work on. Any info well be greatly apprciated. Holla back please

check powerlifting forum and search for plyometrics(they develop both vertical leap and general explosiveness).....on this site.....
although fully body training is also vital....especially olympic lifts...like power cleans , snatch, clean and press, etc...they develop tremendous power....
8 min mile is somewhat slow....if you're in good conditioning you should run it in 6 or under.... but that's besides the point... you're measuring the wrong distance...for football 40 yard dash or 100 meter are what counts....try to work on your sprinting power...you can do this with interval training....10 sets of 100 meter sprints all out......rest 30-120 sec inbetween and repeat....as you progress cut down on rest time....or try some sledding....it's one of the exercises powerlifters use (you strap a sled with weights to your waist and run as fast as you can to develop explosiveness)....
