I've been at this for months now. The exercise, approximately 5 days a week....the diet constantly...I am not firming up, nor am I loosing weight. In fact, I'm still flabby and I've gained 8 pounds. This cannot be normal. I didn't expect to look like a goddess in 10 days :) But I did expect to see *some* weight loss and *some* firmer body parts, not the opposite when I'm working my butt off and doing everyting I'm told. Any ideas?

Are you doing resistance training and cardio? Eating 5 small meals a day?Have you changed your workout routine lately?

Where is the 8 lbs? Check your muscles including your glutes, I'll bet you they are ALL firmer. Since you are excersising you built muscle. It will eventually burn fat. Don't rush and you will see results.

Measure yourself, DO NOT use a scale to measure progress when lifting weights. It may seem that you did gain weight in some parts, but you gotta give it time. Trust me, I know. It took me such a long time, but the results at the end are so worth it. Buy a tape measure and measure the different parts of your body, also go by the way your clothes fit.

Don't give up! Muscle weighs more than fat. Your clothes will soon let you know that you are on the right path.
