Hi all. Im having a major problem with sleeping at night. I think that its related to training, but I cant quite make the connection. I'll keep waking up lke everey 1.5 hours or so all night long. I noticed the other night that the veins on my arms were pumped right up at 4 in the morning! Is that normal? Some nights, i wake up drenched in sweat though I know that its not too many blankets you know?
I start my lift at about 6 pm and lasts for about 45min every other day with weekends off. I'm tired when i go to bed and if I dont get a "good" nights sleep, I'm tired when I wake up.
Anyone out there ever overcome anything similiar?

WOW...ok, do you get enough hours of sleep???? Man, the only advice I would give is to see a dr. about that. All i know is maybe you not going into rem when you go to sleep. So you body isnt actaully fully asleep. Also are you eating right???

are you getting up ever hour an a half to go to the bathroom or just waking up?
If you think it is workout related, maybe take a week off and see what happens. Or maybe try working out in the AM.

I have recently started taking ZMA in the evenings - it seems to be working for me.

Thanks for the replies. I do eat well during the day, and yes, sometimes it is to use the bathroom.
I wish I could do it in the AM, but my work schedule doesnt really let that happen so........
I dont know, I guess it could be alot of different things. Its not dehabilitating like pure insomnia or anything, just a pain in the A**!!!
I guess it would be neat to find some info on weight training and its affect on sleep the closer you get to beddy-bye time
Peace.
