I had shoulder repair in December. I seem to be OK doing shoulder exercises; but doing hanging leg raises is a killer!

I need some ideas for replacements that will do the same thing.

just do reverse cruches off a declined bench, or on the floor.
Or you can get a physio ball, back up to a squat rack, put a hand oneither side, and do a reverse crunch like that. Also for even more dificulty try holding onto a small poll or somthing behind your head, watch out you might roll off lol.
