Sometimes when i want to work my abdominal muscles they start to shake vigorously so I can't get a good workout.
I can't make out what's causing this. It doesn't seem to matter what muscles i trained before i start training my abs or when I last trained them (the day before that or whatever) Do you guys have any suggestions / ideas?

Thank you in advance,
Feije

Feije,

Although this could be a medical issue, it sounds to me like just the effort of doing ab exercises. I would recommend supported movements until you develop more neuromuscular coordination to control it a bit.

Supported movements would include crunch type of movements that keep your lower back on the floor, leg raise/reverse crunch movements, also with your back on the floor. You could also try some abdominal machine movements if you have access to that type of equipment.
