I will soon be in attendance at West Point and NEED to improve my two mile time. I recently lost seventy-five pounds and currently weigh 225 lbs. Before losing the weight my two mile time was almost 19 minutes. Now it's a little over 16 minutes. Will somebody please tell me how to get it to 13?

do interval training....run for as long as you can for example...then when u get winded start to jog very lightly....when you catch your breath start to run fast again....and repeat this cycle....you should eventually start to see big improvements over a couple months....
you can also do sprints....10- 100 meter sprints with minute rest...then eveyr workout work on making the rest time shorter....it works very well for distance running....we had distance runners do this at our school....
