This is my routine i always traintrain heavy, max of 4-5 reps.
Monday - Chest
Tuesday - Arms (Bis and Tris)
Wednesday - Rest
Thursday - Shoulders
Fridy - Back
Saturday - Rest
Sunday - -Rest
i occassionally include 1 or 2 leg exercises at the end of each workout. Please tell me if this a suitable workout routine as i have been told otherwise by some guys at the gym. I have been working out regularly for just under 2 years.

Welcome to ft! Why don't you sign up for one of ft's programs and let ft design an exercise plan for you?

Anyway, it's obvious that your exercise plan targets only the upper body...even though you throw in 1 or 2 legs at the end. How are your gains? Have you been seeing results?

Then, modify your routine to include a day of just legs and calves. Here's a split I could suggest, keeping your 4 days per week workout:

Mon - Shoulders
Tues - Legs/calves
Wed - Chest/back
Thurs - Rest
Fri - Biceps/triceps
Sat & Sun - Rest

If you feel tired, move either Wed or Fri to Sat or Sun. Keep up the cardio. You can do abs on your rest days, leg day and arm day.

Good luck!
