When I look in the mirror I see more tone and a better looking right side. Its not that major, but enough that I can see and feel a difference in the muscle there. Im talking about whats around my chest. ( biceps/especially pecks/biceps)

I do the same wieght in both arms when lifting wieghts. Am I doing something wrong? Anyone ever notice this before? What can I do?

Thanks
Jon

I have the same problem. I lead with the week side and do my reps to faller of the week side. I'm staring to notes a significant gains in strength in the week side doing this. I would like to now what others do about this.

yea my right arm in general is bigger and stronger, what I do is realy concentrate on the weaker side, make it do its work, lot of times i'm just thinking abotu getting the weights up, but I really really concentrate on my left side and make it work harder. Now by doing this my left arm is slowly catching up to my right. Mind muscle connection........if you think abotu it, it will grow, working out is just as much mental as physical.

i'm personally pretty symmetrical on that aspect (lucky me, i guess), but being bigger on one side seems to be common... what i've read is that you should do more barbell movements, so that the weaker side can catch up to its counterpart... that makes a lot of sence to me, and from what i've heard from some people that went through what you're facing, that also yelds positive results...

al, say yoour working biceps.......before you start your bicep workout, do a set of heavy heavy concentraion curls on the stronger side 1st( 5 or 6 reps)......2 sets or so, pre fatigue it so that when you do barbel movments it won't help out as much, then at the end go back and do later concentraion curls on both arms.

I noticed I am the same way, I measured my bicep/tri and found a 5/8th of an inch differance. prity big, probably due to my years of playing Racquetball and Basketball, just does not work out my left side. I like that idea of pre-fatigue to make my right arm not help out as much, I have tried to use dumbells as much as posible, I duno if it helped, but it might have, I know my strength is prity even now, just a size differance.
