Ok I am just starting out. In fact today is 1st day here. One ? I have is ....more reps less weight or less reps more weight? How many reps is good and how do I know to increase weights or reps ? it all depends on your goal. I've done enough reading to categorize training purposes into 3 groups:
* strength - low reps + high loads / ex: power lifters
* indurance - high reps + low loads /ex: joggers & cyclists
* hypertrophy - moderate # of reps & loads / ex: arnold

you'll want to increase the weight when it doesn't feel as hard anymore or when your able to do more reps than your used...it quite simple
