I'm 15 and I weight 211 lbs. 211 lbs!! I'm only like 5'7"-8" tall and I'm very insecure about they way I look. People say I don't look like I weigh 211 more like 180. I always find myself pulling at my shirt when I'm either walking or standing. My goal's to weigh about 170-180, but I have a very hard time losing weight. I want to join swimming, but my weight is holding me back.

I started my diet and exersice plan about a week and a half ago, and I haven't seen any difference. I am doin the low-fat diet and doing cardio and exersicing 2 or 3 muscle groups everyday. I want to be lean and slim, but I usually just give up on a diet a couple weeks after I start. I don't want to quit my plan, but it just get's hard to maintain the diet and exersice.

Can someone help me with a low-fat diet plan to get to my goal??

Howdy... and welcome to FT...

One thing you have to keep in mind is the changes will not happen immediately. Give it some time and stick with it.

If you are looking for a great list of food to eat, check out the grocery list in the diet forum. Basically if it's not there, you probably shouldn't eat it. Maintain the diet and exercise and your changes will happen.

This is a great place for motivation, so take a peek around and check out the site!

I'm so sorry that posted up 3 times:( And I don't think it'll let me erase them since it didn't have my username on it. I've been having trouble with my computer. Sorry about that.

Don't let your weight hold you back from enjoying physical activity. Maybe just take your diet a little at a time. Or for treats have like the new Cadbury thins chocolate bar. It's only 100 calories. You can do it!!!
