I hope this is the right board to put this in, but i'm slightly confused as to what to do while following the training schedule. It has the target rep's and the weight; should i be setting the weight i'm lifting so that i can only perform 20, or keep going past the target to whenever i can't do any more?

Perform te number of reps laid out in the plan. If you can keep going then next time add a little weight. Good Luck and welcome to FT.
