Question about Mass Building program

I hvae been hearing that we should do low reps with alot of weight. Why on the mass building program does it say to be doing 16, 12, 10 reps on chest and whatnot???

Or am i lookin at the wrong one?? I followed the steps properly to get that mass building program into my folder.

I want to try it out, see if it effects me more than my own routine.

Have you just started that program...if so those reps are to get you used to ligting if I am not wrong it will decrease the reps and increas the weight soon. If you have been lifting for a while try to switch from a beginner status to intermeadiate or advanced....hope this helps

Yeah it does. Thanks. I appreciate it. I was scratchin my head wonderin why people are saying to lift 5-6 reps TOPS and that program is showing to lift 16 heh.

Yeah and do not forget that the first set is always a warmup set...!!!!!!!!

Nothin worse I hate about working out than warmups and stretching..

No the reps atre always same throughout 12 weeks!! hey do NOT decrease.I just finished my 12 week muscle and strength program and am on my second week of rest. I
want to get a new program but I cannot seem to be able to. The screen just tells me about the 14
weeks I have gone through with no new program for next week i redid my profile and chose the
prgreessive mass program or something yet am not getting any more workouts!! Help anyone
please!

The workout selection program is pretty wonky.
I selected muscle mass (5 days), and it gave me sets sets along the lines of 12 - 6 - 5- 4
Partway through I decided to restart with a 4 day program, and now it's seying 16-12-10-8.
Odd, eh?

You probably inadvertantly changed your level from advanced to intermediate
