Is loading the same thing as amortization, or is it simply the stretching phase?

I work in corporate finance, I can tell you what amortization is but I've never heard it in the context of exercising.

lol

Actually, in the context of exercise, I'm pretty sure that it means the transition from an eccentric action to a concentric action. "Amortization" I'll admit is a strange choice of word for it...I've heard loading used in the same way, but I'm not really sure if it's quite the same thing.

That's the problem; I've heard "loading" in the context of training with many apparent meanings. I've heard it described as "the transition from stretching to shortening", which seems to run synonymously with amortization, while other sources have lead me to believe that it's just the stretching phase. It's possible that it's also being confused with "load" as in intensity and volume.

google.com for the answer in 30 sec.

Amortization is the change from eccentric phase to concentric phase. Not sure in what sense you mean 'loading'? Like loading a ballistic movement? like with a weighted vest? Then no they are two different concepts.
