Welcome to freetrainers. Full body workout. You cannot spot reduce. If you build your abs, your belly will protrude even more. You don't want that! Adjust your diet and workout, you will shed the fat and look great!

well i do cardio alot just recently i play in a basketball league and and flag football league. i am reletivly slim just my stomach is preaty fat and my chest could shed some fat. I cardio alot drink diet soda i was 205 now i am 188 in about 1 month i lost all that wieght just by changing to diet soda and lots of cardio. i am 6 feet by the way. now will push ups and sit ups tone me up by lets say july?

you cannot spot reduce fat. If you do those situps and build muscles, it will be muscles under the fat thus your belly will only look bigger. Diet will be the key to loosing the fat, situps (and other abs exercises) will be the key to building those muscles to show up when the fat disappears.

And oh yea, providing you do everything right to loose the fat with diet, get those exercises coming in well. July should be pretty reasonable..I think..:big_smile:
