I am just getting back into working out after taking about 6 months off. I was using creatine for about a year while working out. Did't get the results I was looking for. Would a protien supplement be more beneficial if I want more muscle mass. I work out 3-4 times a week. Try to fit cardio in at least 3 times a week. Which is better? Protien or Creatine
first, make sure you got a good diet for yourself with plenty of protein and complex carbs. then i say, take both together. the creatine will help in the protein synthesis. also make sure the creatine and protein you buy are from good quality and reputible brands.
Protein supplementation is a must. Creatine is an effective supplement as well but not all people will use it. However, you can not build lean muscle mass w/o propper protein intake.
