I'm a 45 year old male, just in case my age matters to my problem.

I find that when I take in about 60 - 80 grams of the Whey protein during the day, I develop gas. I usually take it in 30 - 40 gram servings, three times a day in between my regular meals.

I do drink water through the day.

I was wondering is there a digestive emzyne I could take while ingesting the protein?

I hope it would greatly help in two ways, one - the protein would be fully digested for muscle growth, and two - having to excuse myslef during the course of the day.

Any information that is positive would be welcome.

Thanks.

What brand of whey protein are you taking? Sometimes it is the "quality " of the powder and the fillers in it too that cause gas. If I get gas from protein powder I switch to another brand. I have never found a protein bar that doesn't cause gas, are you eating those?
Try any digestive enzyme there are many. Try netrition.com

There was a discussion on this a while back. Try using search and type "gasss."

I'm using a store brand. It's from Vitamin World.

Yes on the protein bars. Never had a problem with those.

Try a different brand when that one is gone. Are you sure the protein bars aren't the problem too? Eat them on a day you have no powder too see. Bars generally have a alcohol sugar in them that cause gas.
