protein shakes ok 4 teens?

:) I would think at 14 and 15 yrs. old, there would be no need for creatine, a waste of money. Creatine supplementation simply "tops off" our bodies own production of creatine as we age.

At 15, I would have to believe it is your normal growth and testosterone that is making you grow, not the creatine you are more than likely just peeing out. Save your money, buy some good food.

ive been taking protein shakes for some time, im just worried because some may contain some stuff that will mess up hormones and growing... is it ok i take them. im 16

you're fine.....protein powder in itself is alright to take....

abs dont worry... i take protein powder (100% whey protein) before and after workouts.. i havent for very long but the guy at the store says that alot of kids these days are using it.. so no worries!:)

im 15 and iv been taking protein shakes for some time, and iv recently started taking creatine monohydrate and my strength and muscle mass is growing like never before. i dont think it stunts growing coz im 6"1 and still growing.

No problem with protien shake. i satrted at late 14 almost 15, i am 18 now, and i grew even more

Yeah that's also what i've heard... that more and more kids are taking creatine... the guy at the store(lol) suggested it but mom said no.. because it wasnt gold card week at gnc (1st week of the month) and she didnt wanna spend tooooooo much money:laugh:

Protein is fine for anyone....especially so for a resistance training athlete.

And no, protein and creatine are not the same. :)

ABs how long you been taking the protein shakes i was thinking about starting but my moms friend sed i should be 18...the protein powder container didnt say anything bout age on it...AND have you seen any results from protein shakes anybody can answer that for me please. i want more mass. :angry:

Hey guys i'm 14 5'7" and i'm ripped i don't use protein powder/shake. I just eat very healthy and have 5 small meals a day always with fruit and veg. But It's okay to start protein shake at about 14-15 my cousin Copter Khonwai started using it at 15 his now 18 look him up on Facebook and his profile pic u will see what it can do. :)
