Hi,
Im by no means a body builder, I joined ft to try to get a definate diet plan to help me lose weight.
My ft plan tells me to take in 172g protein per day, I was having trouble reaching that so I researched it and it seems that 172g is extremely excessive. Id there a mistake? Should I have that much? It is a lot on a normal diet (wihtout shakes that you builders all seem to take).
also struggling to get to 344g crabs... please help

Oh-oh, it's another case of the broken calorie estimator! Hopefully I can simplify things for you! For weight loss try eating around 10-12 calories per pound of body weight per day. As far as splitting your calorie types, try getting 40-50% of your calories from protein, 20-30 from carbs, and around 20% from fat. It'll probably never be exact, but close is good.
