just got a question...I live in Canada and I've just learned that all ephedra containing supplements have been taken off the market. Does anyone know of any products that have the results like hydroxycut but contain no ephedra
?

thanks

Well no ephedra (as many other products)on the market in France as well, but you can still find it on the internet or in the countries nearby. I'm sure you could find it too.

Other products? Look at "natural" fat burners in the stores.

Whoah, ephedra containing products off the shelves in markets? I have nothing against it but, if its a life concerning thing, funny how they still keep products such as cigarettes which kill more thousands of people a year.....

I agree, sire.
You don't know the best thou; flax seed oil, kawa kawa, millepertuis, soy lecithine, gingko biloba, some chromium etc are also illegal selling here.....

Hmmm..... maybe I should move to the States? At least I'll be able to have my own choice of what I want to buy there.

Heah there I live here in Canada as well and you can get ephedra products if you ask very nicely at certain supplement stores. If you would like to know which I would be more than happy to help!

L-Carnitine and chromium work best for me (don't like the ephedrine feeling)....Beverly Nutrition makes a product called Lean Out and Prolab has a version called Cuts II (low on the chromium but that inexpensive to buy a bottle to go with the Cuts).

Hydroxycut is sold in Canada, they just don't put the ephedra (ma huang) in it for the Canadian version. You also might look from EAS Phen-Free. It is supposed to be pretty good, and one of these days I might even get around to buying some! ;)

I just bought Hydroxtcut here in Australia and Surprise!!, there is no ephredrine in it whatsoever. Not that I am too dissappointed, I really wasn't that sure about ephredrine in the first place, but I need help getting some weight off fast.

Anyway the dosage is 4 pills (instead of three) and the Supplement Facts read:

Chromium 300mcg
Hydroxtgen 2000mg
Guarana Extract 910mg (waiter, I'll have an expresso
to go Thanks)
Citrus Aurantium 300mg
Salicin Aurantium 100mg (purple and white willow bark -
Yum)
L-Carnitine 100mg

Anyway, I will give it go.

Leslie, how does this compare to the Beverly Nutrition product.

And after reading and reading previous posts, I will up my cardio work to include sessions after weight training).

If this doesn't work, nothing will!!

I also live in Canada and have had no problem obtaining
products containing ephedra - if you know where to go and
who to ask. Most now have Green Tea as their main "fat
burner" though. You won't likely find the ephedra-based
products at your local GNC or health food store, certainly
not the drug store - but if you have a gym nearby that also
sells supplements, you can usually buy "under the counter".

I drive an hour to get all my supplements - protein, creatine
fatburners...everything... even with the drive it's still
cheaper for me.
