After my workout should I take my protein supplement (GNC Mega Whey) or eat a real protein (Tuna, Chicken, Beef)?

Of the two, the Whey protein supplement is going to be digested much faster, which is what you're looking for after a workout.

What if I work out at night, and get back at 8:00 pm. Protein supplement at 8 and then a real meal at 10? I don't want to eat carbs at night so should I eat just straight tuna?
