I read in (april edition) muscle media that they seem to have new evidence on post workout meals! Hear's what they say.."straight after workout..eg 3pm get 20 grams of whey protein down ya. Then 30mins later (3:30) have 40 grams of protein with about 75g of carbs and 5-10g of creatine. Then 1h 45 mins later(5:15)eat a proper meal of protein and carbs!
What do you guy's think to this?

nothing new ..... eat a lot .......

1.after workout has some carbs with protein - shake
2.30 min have some natural meal
3.and then a big one
that`s what I `ve been doin` .....

After workout I have to eat something but it can`t be a big meal `cause it makes me sleepy, so I have like a sandwich or oatmeal, tuna ....and after an hour a big meal with meat.....

Muscle Media is more of an advertizement for EAS Supplements than anything else. I stopped buying this magazine for that reason - they are more concerned with selling their supplements than anything else. It's a big marketing scheme (and a good one) but I am not going to play.

gee- I guess I sound a little angry in that last post. I'm not. I just feel that this "magazine" is slanted in it's efforts to hype up their supplement market. I am not against supplements - in fact I even use some myself, but I have read many articles penned by Bill Phillips and basically - they all say the same thing: Buy EAS products. Enough is enough, Bill!
