Melissa - you pick odd forums for your post topics - poatatoes is in some other forum and pilates is here.

Pilates is effective for : abdominal training, low back strength, retraining the abs and low back to work together like they should, and stretching.

Pilates is not a high calorie burner or a real big muscle stimulator, so you still need to do cario and resistance training.
