I have not posted on this part of the forum in a while (or ever really I think). I tend to stick to the Powerlifting domain.

Anywho, not sure who still posts (bb1fit?) but I am looking for some food ideas. I have noticed that I have problem with carbs overall, so I want to try and keep them to the first half of the day.

With that in mind, I am trying to come up with ideas for meals for the later portion. My protein source is typically chicken, burger, or steak, but I am looking for fats to add to this meal. Looking to make it around 900-1000 cals or so. The best I can think of is like steak and eggs...

Any ideas?

Natural Peanut Butter, Almonds, Olive Oil, Avacado are a few great choices.

right, i realize they are. but how do you incorporate that into a normal meal. last time i checked, a steak with a side of peanut butter is not so tasty. (fyi- i have not actually tried that, i love both so maybe they would be good).

i guess i am more asking for meal ideas that correspond to the later part of the day with a P+F setup.

Well I am no chef, I just take a shot of olive oil or eat the PB out of the jar. Hopefully someone will add some tasty meal ideas.

haha. neither am i. so your normal evening meals would consist of some protein source (like a piece of steak) and then a shot of olive oil? thats it? doesnt seem very satisfying.

I usually go with a meat source, veggies and then the fat source. I am not very picking when it comes to food, I eat the same few meals over and over. I believe Steve likes to cook, you should get in touch with him. If you do not have his email let me know.

i am not really either. i just didnt think a meat source + some pb would be very satiating. to be perfectly honest, i did not consider the veggies.

i typically eat brown rice, veggies, and a meat source. not very special either.

i am assuming steve is bb1? no i dont have it.

are you the only one on these forums? haha.
