i was reading some articles tonight and each had a differnt opinion on how many sets each body part should get...right now this is what my workout looks like
Monday - Chest/abs
Incline BB press 4 sets, 12 10, 8, 4-6
Flat DB press 4 sets 12,10,8,4-6
Decline DB press 4 sets 12,10,8, 4-6
Pec Deck 2 sets 10,10
(abs i feel im fine with)
Tuesday - Back/Legs
Deadlifts - 3 sets about 5 reps each
T-Bar Rows - 3 sets 10 reps each
Seated Cable Rows 3 sets till failure
Lat Pulldowns to front 3 sets 10 each
Legs
Squats - 3sets 10 reps
Leg extensions 3 sets 12 reps each
Calf Raises - 3 sets till failure
Wed - rest
Thursday Shoulders
Military press 4 sets 12, 10, 8, 6
Standing Lateral raises 4 sets till failure
Front Raises 4 sets till failure
DB presses 4 sets 12, 10, 8, 6
Barbell Shrugs - 3 sets till failure
Friday Bi/Tri/forarms
Close grip Presses 4 sets 12, 10, 8, 6
super set with BB curls 4 sets 12, 10, 8, 6
Skull Crushers/Precher Curls 4 sets 12, 10, 8, 6
Pushdowns/Hammer curls 4 sets 12, 10, 8, 6
Behind the back Reverse Wrist Curls 3 sets till failure
i know this is a long post but i really need some insight on this.. i dont want to be overtraining and counteracting my hard work!...thank you
