Help! I have a pain in the tenton located between my elbow and my tricep. It hurts every time I do any bench for chest or tricep exercise. I can do bicep curls with no problem, but no tricep puch downs. Any one have any advise to what it might be and how to get over it?

Tendon pains usually take a long time to heal (at least a week). Aggrevating it by doing more exercise will only make it worse, or just make it last longer. Do stretching exercises and apply an ice-pack to it a few times each day and don't do any exercise that cause discomfort in that region.

I had that happen on the opposite side of my elbow (right below my bicep) and it took about a week, maybe a little longer, for it to heal.

I can relate to that Adrian. About 2 years ago I had the same problem and couldn't use my left arm for almost 1 mo. I found that taking Ibeprophen (Spelling?) will help with the pain and reduce any inflammation.

Mine feels fine after not working it for two weeks. Take a little time off for it to heal. It will be better to lose a little muscle and keep healthy then to tear a tendon and miss a year.
