Been working out for 9 months, and recently started the ft 8 week program.. on week 2.
This weeks legs routine had the inner thigh machine, which I never did before. Seemed easy when doing it and pushed the muscles to failure as usual on Friday. Saturday, the pain/soreness started.. just to walk I found myself thinking, ouch ouch ouch with every step.. here is Monday and the soreness is still here..
the weird thing.. even though it hurts, it feels good to know that I worked it hard..
still want the pain away..

ouch ouch ouch.. :-)

Once i decided to do Vince garonda's 8 sets of eight workout that I found in a magazine. You do as much weight as you can for eight reps, rest 10-20 seconds and go again, you repeat that for a total of eight sets. It was really hard, I was doing legs, did hack squat, did barbell lunges, sweated it out, finished the whole thing with calves. Seated calf raise - lots of weight, couldn't do more than three sets becasue my muscles seized up, so full of blood and lactic acid it hurt.

For the next week I had to wear platform heels because I couldn't put my heels down flat, had to ice my calves, have a massuese work on them... a little extreme, but your inner thigh machine reminded me of it..it seemed like a good idea at the time:big_smile:
