New too site... Where have i been going wrong?

Hi, i am new to the site....

I have been a member of the gym for about a year now. I have been going 4-5 times a week, doing around 30mins to an hour of running on treadmill then weight machines. Yes i have lost a tiny bit of fat and dropped a few inches on the weist, but i don't feel much has changed. I have also been watching what i am eating.

My aim is to lose the fat, and be stronger and fitter for football.

Where am i going wrong and should i be taking any supplements? and if so what?

So yeah, lots of effort but not noticing much of a change.

If you are properly training, then look to your diet. Training is 99.9999% exercise, diet and rest. Supplements don't do much but empty your wallet. Supplement protein if you can't get enough through your diet.
