I read a bunch of threads on the subway diet and have concluded that 900 calories is too little for just food a day. Is this a good idea for my diet?

note: there will be an occasional cup of coffee or green tea regardless with every breakfast

monday, wednesday, friday, sunday will be my subway lunch/subway dinner days

breakfast=protein shake, 3 hardboiled eggs,

snack=and orange and some peanuts or sunflower seeds

lunch=6" sweet onion chicke teriyaki sandwhich with provolone and some veggies with a bottle of water and fruit

snack: water, pineapple or pear, 2 pcs. celery and peanut butter.

dinner= 12" veggie delite, no mayo water and fruit again.

tuesday thursday saturday:

breakfast: protein shake, protein pancakes

snack: peanuts, apple, water

lunch: 1 piece grilled chicken breast and 1.5 cup rice with 2 pieces steamed asparagus

snack: tbsp olive oil, spinach, water, 6-10 saltines

dinner: lowfat chicken teriyaki served over whole wheat grilled pasta and some broccoli and carrots 1 cup soy milk or green tea.

OR

my exercise will consist of various cycling of lifting and situps almost everyday and as many 2-5 mile hikes and if i have time some days a 40 min tae bo cardio dvd

whadya'll think?
