Well I'm new here, I'm 16 and weigh around 168 and I'm 5'11. I'm trying to get abs, I've never worked out so can I get any advice about what workouts to do, how long to rest, number of sets/reps and stuff like that.

You have abs. The trick is making them show. To do that, you need to eat lean and burn more calories than you take in.

You can't really develop one part of your body. If you want big arms, you can do curls and extensions until the world comes to an end and your arms will only get so big. You need to do squats, deadlifts and lunges to work your whole body in addition to simple movements like curls or crunches. Go to the exercise section and you can get a list of exercises that target abs.

The workouts here will help you learn how to combine movements and when to do them. Work your whole body to build muscle or you'll be wasting time. Eat cleanly and you'll be able to see the results.
