Hi - I want to add muscle mass to my body, but I need to loss about 15-18lbs in fat. 39 yr old male. Any recommendations? Should I loss weight first with aerobic exercise and basic weight training along with diet? Any other recommendations or approach I should consider?

Hey rob - Just a suggestion but personally I find it easier to go on a lean mass gaining cycle and forget the bulks. If you aren't careful, the fat sticks around too long. FT has a good program that you can check out. Lose the body fat while you go on a cycle that's almost endurance training then switch to a good 3 or 4 day BB split. Do that for a couple of months and then go into a maintenance routine. That seems to work better as you get older for us amateur types. I started doing that in my early 30's and been doing it ever since. If nothing else, it keeps you from having to have two closets full of clothes. :)
