I have just recently started my cutting cycle for the first time. I've never tried loosing weight before and just bought myself a scale and dropped my calorie intake to about 2500 a day, i don't know what i was eating before but it was probably in the 3500-4000 range, now that i see how small 3 oz. of ground beef really is and a 1/2 cup of baked beans which is about 450 calories. I am now feeling hungry about 2 hours or less sometimes after eating granted i'm only on my third day. Should i fight these feelings of hunger and wait the 3 full hours or give in but then that means eating more and that means more calories, I want to keep the muscle and loose the fat is my body taking muscle for energy when i feel hungry? I was also thinking that maybe my stomach is going through a shrinking stage and that maybe my body will adjust to the smaller meals, I was eating till i was completel full before just stuffing myself which i'm guessing isn't the best thing to do. Since I don't know how many calories i was eating before i decided to multiply my weight by 12 to get the amount of calories i need to consume in order to loose the fat, should i up this amount. Thanks
!2 is the minimum number of calories. Definately up your amounts, but make sure you don't get more than 30% fat. Stick to only Good carbs, and make sure the protein is higher than your carbs. Stop weighing yourself and use a tape measure, you will see the changes.
Hope this helps.
