I've been back in the gym for about a year and a half now, getting great results, but also getting sharp pains in my elbow for the past week or two.
After poking around this site and reading up on the subject, I'm going to take one - three weeks off.
I still plan on doing my legs once a week and abbs three times a week, just nothing where I will have to use my arms.
So what I want to do is fill in my "training gaps" with cardio.
My goal is also loose the high cal protein powder gut that I have put on in the past month or so by June 27th when my wife and I go on vacation.
I will adjust my diet a bit, but I don't have a clue about cardio.
Got any ideas?
Thanks...

Running, Biking, Eliptical....???
Do 30 min after your weights...

Yeah don't settle for the same old same old... go for cardio circuit training. This is a cardio blast that doesn't take a long time and even stimulates muscle growth although not nearly as much as weight training.
Circuit training though would be exercises done one right after the other. Are you familiar with the 300 workout? That is circuit training.
You can play around with some cool things though. For example:
Run on the treadmill pretty fast for 1 minute, then go jump rope for 1 min, then do some squat thrusts, etc...
Do a couple reps of that and you will get a million time better cardio workout than just the same old stuff.

Thanks for the tip. I'll give it a try tonight.
The old Running, Biking, Eliptical stuff just bores me to the point where I'd rather just try to burn off calories by smashing my head with a rock.
