I'm doing the mass gaining plan, while I like lifting sometimes I get tired of the daily grind. Will it hurt my results too much if i take a day off each week from lifting(switch it around so i don't miss the same area each week of course) and go rock climbing or play basketball or do something fun to keep me motivated? Or would it be better to do my normal workout and then go do those activities? Thanks in advance.
Oh forgot a few things, I'm 21, 162 lbs 73inches tall and am trying to gain about 10-15 lbs but i'm not really in any hurry I just want to feel and look better.

I am not sure what the plan looks like, but instead of skipping something each week just add in an extra day or two of rest when you see fit. It may take longer to get through the cycle but there is nothing wrong with that. You grow outside the gym when you rest and if it keeps you motivated and in the gym, then even better. Good luck and keep lifting !!!!
