My friend's dad is realy into bodybuilding and has my friend doing it. He mentioned that my friend can lift/benchpress 145 lbs., I'm wondering if that's good or not?

Is that his max, projected max, or what he does an 8 rep set at?

145 isn't bad if he can do say, four sets of 8 or so at it.

145 can be a pretty big max, depending on who he is.

Age? Weight?

Yeah I'd definitely say he's doin great. I'm 15 and 150, recently started liftin and my max is 130 right now, but I'm workin my tail off to get it higher.
