Hi everyone, I have been lurking around here for a while. I am really liking the vibe here.I am 22 yr old mother of 2 still trying to lose baby weight from baby number one. I am nursing. I have started WW and I am doing running.com C25k program. I am hoping to become an avid runner.

My problem is my food intake. I checked and the nutritional tracker told me I needed a certain amount of calories each day. I am horrible at counting calories and stuff, that's why I do WW. Is there an easier way to staying under my calorie limit. :)

No easy way but its the challenge that keeps most of us addicted. I don't know much about Weight watchers but I have read the nutrition info on some of there products I personaly wouldn't put it into my system. Taking out fat and replacing it with sugar is false economy in my book. If your nursing at the moment you will need extra calories from natural source's.
Protein needs are increased during breastfeeding. Make sure you get some meat, poultry, seafood, eggs, beans, nuts, tofu, and low-fat dairy products are also good sources of protein.
Calcium needs are also elevated try to consume at least 3-4 calcium-rich foods per day.
I would Increase your activety rather than lower your calories while nursing.

Just wondering, are you still on a pre-natal vitamin? . I remember my wife's made her nauseous, but it also kept her iron and other vital nutrients up also. I agree w/ Ironmonga, WW just never seemed to do anything for anyone I know that tried it. I'm not saying don't use it at all. I just don't see the good in spending all the money for WW vs. meals you can prepare yourself that you know are healthy.
I was pretty bad at counting also. An easy answer is to use the Nutritional Plan provided free on this website. It helped me get down to brass tacks everything I was taking in, and cutting out the foods that you didn't need. It sounds to me like you have a goal, and now you have an idea of what you can adjust to get there.
One other thing I know that helps. Have the father support you by going on the diet too! Accountability is a good thing when it's two people on the same path, instead of one person saying "You can't eat that! Here, let me eat it..."

Just throwing those out there. And you're right. This site is really a great tool. Use it often! Good luck!
Here's some nutrition sites that might help. Alot of people here have provided these, I take no credit, I just compiled:

Oh, and also someone soon is going to ask you to update your profile. It helps the moderators and other assorted "fitness wise guys" know a basic idea of your fitness type and goals and tailor their response to your needs. Again, Good luck!
