I have been reading that in order for mussels to grow you have to tear down some fibers so they ca regrow is this true? If so how do you know when you are doing it Wright? Is it when you fill the burning like when you do lots of reps or will it just happen?

It happens after repeated movement of the muscle with resistance. This is why the last 3 reps of the set are the hardest and most important to complete, And yes, some feel the "burn".

You have to lift heavy weights to make your muscles grow. I am a certified fitness trainer and I have over 14 years of personal experience. My advice is to stick to the basic exercises, like bench press, shoulder press, pull overs, and so on. Keep your reps low 3, 5, 8, and all ways do one good warm up set before you start, 25 reps is best.

Thanks that answer my question. Is it bad to do several low rep sets with only a minute or two in between or is it better to rest longer between sets
