Hello. Im new to working out and have a few questions. First, is it normal that my right side has more fat and muscle than the left? Also, as i work out, will they ever equal eachother in size? Last question, Is there a point to where muscles will stop growing without proper calorie intake? What i mean is if i work out but dont fill up on calories or whatever, will my muscles get to a point to where they stop growing? And if they do, would my right side and my left side match up in terms of size?

Thank you and sorry for the long post.

in terms of matching your sides, you have to do training that isolates each side (ie instead of a barbell curl, do dumbell curls). begin with your weaker limb, and work it to whatever your max is, and then MATCH that with your stronger arm. eventually, with time and perseverance, you will equal out.

if you arent taking in the proper calories, after a point working out will not be very useful.. you will be either maintaining what you already have, or possibly even losing some. weights are just a means to an end to catabolize your body and break muscle, its all about nutrition and diet to make muscles grow and to increase strength..

Thanks for the help. When you say work it to your max, do you mean like 10 reps at 50 lbs then do 10 reps at 50lbs with the stronger arm?
